Adult Day Services

Home Respite Care, Inc. is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization. We are not supported by any state or federal programs. Funding for our programs comes from donations, memorials, client fees and our fundraising efforts.

Donations/Memorials

Individuals, companies and organizations can make general donation to our organization. A memorial donation can be made in memory or honor of a loved one, relative or friend. The family of the individual is notified of this donation. Memorial forms are available from the Respite Care office if you would like to notify the family yourself.

All donations are acknowledged by a thank you and receipt from our office. It is then listed in our newsletter that comes out three times per year.

The other source of funding comes through fundraising. We currently have two fundraisers each year, the No Ball and The TasteĀ in Oconto County.

The No Ball is held around Valentine’s Day each year. This consists of an invitation to a Valentine’s Ball that doesn’t exist. Instead, we ask that you make a donation to Home Respite Care in the amount you would have spent on a night out.

The TasteĀ in Oconto County is held in the fall of the year. This is a tasting event with area businesses/restaurants providing samples of their goods and specialties. A ticket is purchased to get in with each attendee receiving a complimentary wine glass commemorating the event. With this ticket you are then able to sample all of the wonderful food and drink. Silent and Live Auctions and Raffles with items that are donated, are held throughout the day.

Funds are used to support administrative costs, staffing, training, rent, insurance fees and other operating costs. All donations are tax deductible. Please consult your tax advisor with any questions.
